Another Part Of The World n’est pas un simple voyage musical : c’est une expérience sensorielle, une traversée des textures et des formes, où chaque geste résonne avec une précision organique. Marc Jufer signe ici un album dont les compositions finement ciselées forment la colonne vertébrale d’une improvisation débridée, vivante, profondément collective.
Aux côtés du saxophoniste suisse, trois musiciens remarquables : Josephine Nagorsnik (trombone), Christian Weber (contrebasse) et Devin Gray (batterie). Ensemble, ils tissent une matière dense et mouvante, où se rencontrent éclats, silences, frottements, envolées joyeuses, tensions lentes et élans soudains. Ce quartet ne joue pas simplement ensemble : il écoute, il construit, il réagit, à chaque instant.
Chaque pièce est un écosystème en soi. Un motif récurent et obsédant qui apparait, disparait et resurgit dans Where is Morpheus, une évolution retenue et tendue dans Blue Shadow, le passage d’un monde étrange et lent à un univers léger et jubilatoire dans Let’s See - autant de signes d’un équilibre rare entre écriture et liberté. Rien n’est figé, mais tout est ancré.

Alongside the Swiss saxophonist are three remarkable musicians: Josephine Nagorsnik (trombone), Christian Weber (bass), and Devin Gray (drums). Together, they weave a dense, ever-moving fabric — where sparks, silences, friction, joyful outbursts, slow tension, and sudden surges all meet. This quartet doesn’t just play together — it listens, it builds, it responds in real time.
Each piece is its own ecosystem: a recurring, obsessive motif that fades and returns in Where is Morpheus; a slow, restrained evolution in Blue Shadow, a passage from strangeness to euphoria in Let’s See — all signs of a rare balance between form and freedom.

Jedes einzelne Musikstück ist ein eigenes Ökosystem. Ein ständig wiederkehrendes und obsessives Motiv, das in 'Where is Morpheus' auftaucht, verschwindet und wieder auftaucht, eine zurückhaltende und angespannte Entwicklung in 'Blue Shadow', der Übergang von einer seltsamen und langsamen Welt zu einem leichten und jubilierenden Universum in 'Let's See': So viele Zeichen eines seltenen Gleichgewichts zwischen Komposition und Freiheit. Nichts ist festgeschrieben, doch alles ist verankert.
